Here are two words you don’t expect to find on the same sentence: Donut and Bitcoin.
Whilst the first word is a popular sweet treat (which I very much appreciate), the second word refers to a concept that, let’s be honest, almost no one can explain to you like if you were 5 years old. Behind the buzz, there are still few products on the market fulfiling the full potential of this technology. Donut wanted to change that.
With the guiding principle of “everyone can become an investor”, their app makes the experience of saving and purchasing digital assets easy and accessible, even for newcomers. They knew they would only succeed if they could demystify a world reserved until now for well-heeled investors, challenging what has become the norm on the industry.
We designed a friendly and relatable brand which refutes the playbook usually followed by all financial players (which, let’s not mince the words, can be quite dull). On top of that, we developed a distinctively visual universe front-led by playful plasticine characters designed in collaboration with the Manchester-based Young Studio.
