Zip Code is a magazine that highlights the cultural life of your city. In this outlet, you can find all sorts of expressions like music, live concerts, exhibitions, theatre curated specifically to your hometown. In today’s flood of content that can be found on the internet, ZipCode promises to deliver what really matters on your city. My brief was to bring this whole concept to life, in the form of a responsive website.
Having intervened in several fronts of this project — UX, art direction and visual design — my main concern was to display great amounts of information never compromising the beauty of the design, mainly because we’re talking about a target that values the visual aspect a lot.
The design comes to life with splashes of electric colours that somehow express a more pop culture-centric tone. This is a platform that is flexible enough, allowing the team to scale their editorial capabilities offering them the possibility of inclusion of different mediums.
